🌷 Pick Your Own Tulips – Spring 2026🌷 

Come out to our farm and enjoy a hands-on U-Pick tulip experience! Bring the family and plan to stay for our other fun attractions. 

Please only cut tulips you plan to take home—once a bloom is cut, it cannot be replanted.

How It Works

Step 1: Pick a basket. We provide baskets for collecting your tulips.
Step 2: Use the provided scissors to cut each stem at soil level for the best length and to protect surrounding plants.
Step 3: Take your bouquet to our wrapping station, where your tulips will be bundled and wrapped to take home.

Top Tips for Picking the Best Tulips

🌷 Choose Buds, Not Fully Open Blooms
Select tulips in the tight bud stage, where color is visible but the flower is not fully open. These will last much longer in your vase.

⏰ Arrive Early
Early visitors enjoy cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, and the widest selection of blooms. 

👟 Dress for the Field
Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes or rain boots. Spring fields can be muddy, especially after rain.

🪣 Bring Your Own Bucket
While baskets are provided for picking your tulips, bringing a bucket or container (especially with a little water in it) makes transport easier and keeps flowers fresh if your drive is longer than an hour.

🚗 Transport with Care
Bring bags or boxes to help keep bouquets upright in your vehicle on the way home.

💧 Hydration is Key
If traveling more than an hour, place your tulips in a bucket of water in your car as soon as you return from the field.

Post-Picking Care at Home

1. Trim about 1 inch off the bottom of each stem at a slight angle.
2. Place in a clean vase with fresh, cold water.
3. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
4. Change water daily for the longest vase life.
